For the past four years, we've been transforming public parks and gardens across NYC

as sites of the Earth Month Convergence, turning them into living classrooms and

catalysts for climate justice, cultural and ecological restoration, and solutions built

by the people who live them.

OUR TRACKS

LAND STEWARDSHIP

P1661076 (3).JPG

Through workshops and immersive experiences like the Community Soil Lab and Live Soundscapes: Echoes of Land and Community, this track builds real scientific skill in soil remediation and living ecosystems as both a record of

what's been harmed and the roadmap towards repair.

This track is the seedbed for our flagship Youth Land Labs, where the next generation learns to steward theland they'll inherit.

SPIRIT, MEMORY, AND ARCHIVES

7M3A9482.JPG

Through workshops like Creating Lasting Family and Community Traditions and

panels like Feeding the Circle: Indigenous Foodways and Community Power, this

track helps attendees to trace their own histories, work made urgent by generations

of erasure. It also develops

our archival practices so we can stand

in right relationship with our human

and animal kin stewards of the land.

This track lives in our growing Living Archive

of human, flora, fauna, & fungi histories.

COMMUNITY-DIRECTED TECH

P1660492 (1).JPG

Through workshops like the Solar-Powered Butterfly this track puts clean energy directly into people's hands. Workshops like Imagining Speculative Technologies pushes further toward community-directed, solar-powered mesh networks that  offer real connectivity without surveillance or extraction.

This track questions how do we build technology for community instead of in place of it, and is working to shape active organizing on the ground in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
