The Living Archive holds what has been made, shared, and passed down
across our tracks and years of gathering: not a static collection, but a growing,
breathing record of lineage, land, and the relationships that hold us together.
The Living Archive is cultivated and held by the community
thatcreated it, for the communities that need it.

Self-published, hand-assembled, and passed hand to hand, these zines created by workshop leads and community members carry stories, practices, and knowledge that don't always make it into formal records.
Bandanas and other made things carry the archive too. Everyday objects, textiles, and materials that hold memory. These materials are meant to be worn,
used, kept close, and one day, passed down.

WHY WE ARCHIVE
Archiving is an act of care and of resistance. It's how we hold onto what generations of erasure have tried to take, and how we make sure knowledge, cultural, ecological, technological, ancestral, stays in the hands of the people who created it.
The Living Archive is never finished. Every zine, every piece of art, every object
added is a way of saying: this happened, this mattered, and this is ours to keep.
